About Us

Amerikanaki: noun.
A Greek who grew up abroad but still gets lectured by Yiayia for not wearing a sweater in 80 weather.

We're the loud laugh at the dinner table, the extra chunk of feta "just in case," and the eternal debate over which taverna makes the best souvlaki. We're the ones who grew up with one foot in America and the other firmly planted in the homeland- sprinting between two worlds, usually with a koulouri in hand.

Amerikanaki was born out of love for that in-between life. The inside jokes. The stubborn pride.
The phrases that only make sense if you've been yelled at in Greek before.
Our designs are for anyone who knows the smell of Greek coffee at 6 AM, has had to translate a wedding speech on the fly, or believes no salad is complete without at least a block of feta.

We're here to make you laugh, maybe get you in a little trouble with your parents, and wrap you in a little piece of home- no matter how far you are from the village square.

We're Greek. We're abroad. We're Amerikanaki.
Now go call your mother. She worries.
